I want to share my inspiring experience of studying at Anglichannka school and preparing for work in English. I decided to look for a teacher as soon as I made the decision to leave my Russian company and find a job in a European one. I already had a conversational level and at first I thought it would be a good idea to find a native speaker for classes. But after trying lessons with several native speakers, I realized that I couldn't connect with them, didn't want to study from a textbook, communicate via emails, or conduct classes in PowerPoint. At Anglichannka school, from the first trial lesson, I immediately caught the wave. I was very lucky with my teacher. We quickly found common ground and I was inspired by the free format of communication, the absence of textbooks, and working on an interactive board in Miro. But the best thing of all is, of course, the individual approach to students, creating a timeline for the study period and lessons on individual topics that interest you. In just 3 months, we covered the basics to fill in my gaps, analyzed tons of interview questions, improved my LinkedIn profile, created a great resume and cover letter. When I was already charged for passing interviews in English, we started analyzing my interview recordings and also shifted the learning vector to working in a team. Just this week, after 4 months of classes and lots of interviews in English, I finally received my coveted offer from a European company!
